I think I don’t have any talent in writing. You’ll pretty soon find that out
. And my English is pretty pour. What can I say…. I’m just happy I don’t need to be talking right about now, just typing. Then why would somebody like me start a blog?
There are a lot of sources of information out there. You can find many fancy ways that arguably make you wanna stop this (bad) habit. Or are there?
I’m a regular smoker. I like it very much. It’s like a daily part time job… considering I spend hours at it
. I’m not that worried about cancer or all other things you can get because of smoking. It won’t happen to me. Honest, I’m immune!
(and in the next posts I’ll teach you to become immune too
- neah!). But what a heck, I wanna be as informed as possible on this. Smoking is bad. Is it all that bad?
I started a blog ’cause I have the time (compared to you?) to scope the net and keep track of all that I consider valuable information. My motivation comes out of the fact that I know there are a lot of smokers out there who’d like to know more about this… including myself!… real information… no medical nonsense, no wonder medicine, no robbers. I’ve learned that some of the information available online is really good, but most is just not worth my time. Mostly just a lot of products to scam a quick buck off of me.
Smoking is like the worst vices. It makes people even start blogs on it. Go figure!

When I first saw these comments I thought ” Ok, there is another guy who doesn’t do anything with his life, just smoke cigarretts, drink beeer and, from time to time, do some “real work” and create a blog, where some other smokers who have as much time as he does can come an praise their stinky vice.” Taking a deeper look, you might see that this might just help you quit cigarettes when u see all the disadvantages smoking can bring. That is if u care enough for someone else other that yourself.
U say u are not worried about cancer or other “things you can get because of smoking”. Well, u might not care about yourself, but have u ever stopped and think about those around you ? Maybe your 2 year old son doesn’t want to start smoking just yet, filling his lungs with that awuful grey smoke and getting no pleasure what so ever in it. Or maybe, your wife, your mother, your sister or brother, your girlfriend, your father or your best friend who managed to escape all their lives this fatal vice that smoking is ( don’t make any mistake about this - smoking is fatal), don’t wanna die of lung cancer just because YOU smoke. Did u ever think about that when u lit your cigarette ? Probably not. So, next time u feel like smoking and you see around you people u say u care about, maybe you will think twice and at least postpone it until there will be nobody else around who you can harm. Other than yourself, that is.

You really are fired up, Sunshine
. Please do tell us some more.
About your comment, what can I say? You’re probably right… or completely right, you decide. What I do think though, is that everyone is free to decide what to do with their life. If you’re a smoker and wanna smoke, go ahead, do it. I agree you should not harm somebody else’s health by doing it, I agree it’s bad for you, but so is crossing the street.
Sunshine, if your boyfriend (or girlfriend) smokes, is it a good reason to dump’im ’cause of it? There are a lot more important things in life than somebody smoking….
I remember an old, but good, joke:
There was this guy who went to see a doctor and said
- Doc, I wanna live 100 years
- Well, the doctor said, lets see…. Do you waste nights? Go to clubs…?
- Neah…
- Do you drink?
- Oh, hell no, drinking is bad for you.
- Do you smoke?
- Never! I’m afraid of cancer.
- Of course, you don’t use drugs either, do you?
- Doc, of course not…
- Do you see… you know… call girls?
- I am totally against that. I love my family!
- Well, sir, if you don’t do any of that… why the hell would you wanna live 100 years??!

This blog will most definitely contain information on smoking. So do come back, Sunshine! Tell your friends to do that too

Just like crossing the street ? I really don’t think crossing the street it’s the same as smoking. Hell, u wait for the green light, cross the street and, in 95% of the cases ( or more ), u get on the other side of the street safe and sound. However, if u smoke one cigarrete per hour or even per day u have ALWAYS 100% chances of harming yourself and the ones around you. And no, I wouldn’t dump my partenr for smoking, but I would insist on making him quit. Like I hope u will help some people do, by counting their smoking and highlighting the harm cigaretts can do.
